Joliet Man Faces Narcotics and Weapons Charges

During an investigation conducted by the Joliet Police Department Narcotics Unit, Roscoe Norals III (28, Joliet) was identified as a suspect in the delivery of a controlled substance.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Norals and his residence.
On April 30, 2026, at 6:48 a.m., members of the Narcotics Unit, Tactical Unit, K9 Unit, Neighborhood Oriented Policing Team, and Patrol Division executed the search warrant at Norals’ residence in the 400 block of Dixon Avenue.
During a search of the residence, officers recovered suspected cocaine, heroin, and cannabis. Officers also recovered two .45-caliber handguns. One handgun had been modified with a switch, making it capable of automatic fire, and its serial number appeared to be defaced. The second handgun had previously been reported stolen from Missouri.
Norals was located at the residence and was placed into custody without incident. He was charged with the following:
• Three Counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance
• Three Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver
• Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver
• Two Counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by Felon
• Defacing Identification Marks of Firearm
• Armed Habitual Criminal
• Possession of a Stolen Firearm
• Two Counts of Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
Norals was processed at the Joliet Police Department and was then transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
