Here are the Forest Preserve District of Will County programs for the week of April 13. Online registration is available on the Event Calendar at ReconnectWithNature.org.

Mystery Program at Four Rivers: 5:30-6:45 p.m. Friday, April 17, Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, Channahon. Embrace the unknown with a surprise-themed program featuring games, stories and a mystery subject revealed by a naturalist. All ages; free. Register by April 16.

The Nature Foundation Trivia Night Fundraiser: 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, Heroes West Sport Grill, Joliet. Test your knowledge at a lively trivia night supporting The Nature Foundation of Will County, with prizes and raffles throughout the evening. Ages 21 or older; $50 per person. Tickets includes dinner and drinks (two drink tickets for beer or wine).

Meet and Treat: 8-11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, Messenger Marsh Dog Park, Homer Glen. Explore the dog park, meet staff and enjoy a treat bag for your pup while learning about amenities and permits. All ages; a $5 day pass is required for those who do not have dog park permits. Should you decide to continue using the parks and purchase an annual permit, your $5 will go toward the purchase of the permit.

Pokémon of Plum Creek: 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, Plum Creek Nature Center, Crete Township. Search for “Pokémon” across the preserve while learning about local wildlife in a fun, interactive adventure. Ages 7-12; free. Register by April 15.

Junior Naturalists: Weather: 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, Isle a la Cache Museum, Romeoville. Discover climate and weather through games, crafts and hands-on science activities. Ages 8-12; free. Register by April 16.

Old School Birding by Ear: 8-9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 19, Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, Channahon. Take a tech-free hike focused on identifying birds by sound while exploring paved and natural trails. Ages 12 or older; free. Register by April 17.
