By a 4-2 vote.

The Will County Board’s Land Use Committee now will hold a hearing on this plan, as well as Earthrise Energy’s smaller Plum Valley plan, which the Planning and Zoning Commission approved, at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at the Renaissance Center, 214 N. Ottawa St., Joliet.

The full Will County Board will consider recommendations for both plans at its Thursday, April 16, meeting at 9:30 a.m.

The public can comment at that meeting, but there will be no formal hearing.

Regardless of the county’s decisions, the state has the final say, an issue under review for several cases in Will County Court.
