SWCD Taking Fall Tree, Fish Orders
The Will-South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for the Fall Tree and Fish Sale.
Order forms are available on the District Website http://will-scookswcd.org and can be picked up at the Will South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District office during business hours. US mail, Email can also be requested by calling (815) 462-3106, ext. 3.
The district has a wide variety of plants, shrubs, and trees available this spring. Stocks range from 12 inches to 6-foot linear stock, and in a 1-, 2- or 5-gallon potted stock. All tree orders must be placed and received by Sept. 20. All orders are prepaid only.
Tree orders will be available for pick-up on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 5 and 6, and on Oct 7 from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. Pick-up is at Will-South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District building (in back parking lot), 1201 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox.
Fish varieties for sale include: Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Triploid Grass Carp, Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, and Minnows. Grass Carp must be ordered by Wednesday, Sept. 13. All other fish orders must be placed and received be Friday, Sept. 22. Grass Carp orders require permit information on the bottom of the form to be filled in completely. All orders are prepaid only. Fish stock will be available for pick-up on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m.
