The Will-South Cook Soil and Water Conservation District will host a Pond Workshop presented by IDNR Fisheries Biologist Seth Love on Tuesday, March 10, at 6 p.m.

The event will be held at the District office, 1201 Gougar Road in New Lenox. Love’s presentation will cover several topics including fish and vegetation management and common pond issues, followed by a question and answer session.

On Tuesday, March 24, the SWCD will host a Conservation Gardening Night presented by Nancy Kuhajda, Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator. This event will also be held at the District office beginning at 6 p.m.

Join the SWCD to learn about pollinators, underutilized native trees and shrubs, and other tips and tricks. Nancy will provide many useful research-based handouts for attendees as well as free vegetable, flower, and herb seeds.
