The Joliet Park District will be hosting a free Back to School Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Nowell Park Recreation Center, 199 Mills Road, Joliet.

Sponsored by D’Arcy Motors, Veterans Energy Team, Crossroads Christian Church, Abri Credit Union and the Times Weekly, the event will feature games, lunch and giveaways will be going on throughout the day.

Backpacks and school supplies will be given out while supplies last.
