John and Charlie Kestel shared these photos of the June 1976 Farm City Days, sponsored by the Will County Farm Bureau. They recalled the event drew about 1,000 people for the day on the Kestel Farm in Frankfort and the nearby Art Mark Farm, where they got to see a first-class hog operation. Hayracks carried visitors between the two farms.

Visitors got a close-up look at old and new farm equipment, with member’s of the Young Farmers doing the presentations.

Those tractor wheels were bigger than the kids!
