L-Way Restaurants Invited to Chili Cook-Off
The Village of Frankfort is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated “Fire and Ice” Winter Social, an electrifying event set to warm hearts and taste buds alike, returns on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in downtown Frankfort.
As part of the festivities, the Village will host a Chili Cook-Off that promises to be the highlight of the event. Lincoln-Way area restaurants are invited to bring the heat and compete in this spicy competition for the title of Best Chili.
Participating restaurants will have the opportunity to present their signature chili recipe to event attendees. Judging will be done by “people’s choice,” and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. This is an excellent opportunity for local eateries to showcase their culinary talents, connect with the community, and vie for the prestigious title of Chili Champion.
The “Fire and Ice” Winter Social promises a festive atmosphere with activities for all ages, including a live ice carving demo, winter-themed entertainment, bonfires, smores, hot cocoa, and more! By participating in the Chili Cook-Off, local restaurants can add their unique flavor to this vibrant celebration of community and winter joy.
