Thanks from First Bank of Manhattan
On September 6, First Bank of Manhattan hosted their annual Fall Agricultural Event, which featured our exceedingly informational presenters — Danielle Rehberg (Loan Specialist with the FSA) and Steve Georgy and Nathan David (President and Broker, respectively, with Allendale Inc.).
Danielle shared the most current updates on the Farm Bill and loan programs the USDA provides that can benefit our local agricultural producers. Steve and Nathan provided a plethora of information regarding the 23’-24’ grain market outlook.
The event was held at the Tom E Hartung American Legion Post 1977 in New Lenox and was catered by Smokin’ Z BBQ. There were 50+ attendees at the event, and at the end of the evening, we announced our door raffle winner, Doug Yunker. We want to thank all event attendees for being with us this year and highly encourage all of those that were unable to attend to join us next year!
