Veterans Appreciation Night at Lockport East
Are you a veteran or know someone who honorably served or is currently serving in the Armed Forces? If so, on Friday, Dec 2, Lockport Township High School will be holding its annual “Veterans Appreciation Night” at 6 p.m. at the East Campus, 1333 E. 7th St.
Veterans are being asked to please register at www.lths.org website, by contacting Mike Zaworski at [email protected] or by calling (815) 588-8591 and to arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. for pre-event time set aside for veterans to mingle and receive their commemorative T-shirt.
This night will allow family and community to say “Thank You” to our Veterans as they are collectively escorted and individually recognized during the ceremony for their service. After the unfurling of the giant US flag and singing of our National Anthem, veterans and their guests are invited to stay for the Porters vs Lincoln-Way West Basketball game.
