Audubon to Hear ‘Alaskan Arctic Photo Adventure’
“An Alaskan Arctic Photo Adventure” will be presented by Greg DuBois, Vice-President and Program Director of Will County, at the November 10 meeting of the Will County Audubon Society at the Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Drive, Joliet.
Doors open at 6 a.m. There will be a business meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program.
In June of 2022, Greg took a 7-day wildlife photo tour to Barrow, Alaska, to photograph birds that breed in the arctic tundra. He will discuss the treeless habitat and the challenges of travel and photography in this top-of-the-world environment. His program will feature photos of birds and other wildlife, scenic pictures of habitat, and other aspects of this adventure.
Will County Audubon programs are free and open to the public. Snacks will be available; please bring your own beverage and cup.
