CLAIM NOTICE

Notice is given to creditors of the death of WILLIAM DAVIS WRIGHT. Letters of office were issued on August 4, 2023 to PENNY DIANE HEATHER, whose address is 102 Park Avenue, Apartment F, Morris, IL 60450 as Independent Executor and whose attorney of record is Bruce L. Zumstein, 54 N. Ottawa St., Suite 360, Joliet, IL 60432.

 

Notice is given to ANDREW WRIGHT, a brother of the decedent and to ROYCE WRIGHT, a brother of the decedent, both of whose addresses are not set out in the Amended Petition for Probate of Lost Will and for Letters Testamentary that an order was entered on August 4, 2023 admitting to probate the will of the decedent dated June 22, 2021. Within 42 days after the effective date of the original order of admission of the will to probate, you may file a petition with the court to require proof of the will by testimony of the witnesses to the will dated June 22, 2021, in open court of other evidence as provided in Section 6-21 of the Probate Act of 1975. You also have the right under Section 8-1 of the Probate Act of 1975 to contest the validity of the will dated June 22, 202 I by filing a petition with the court within six months after the admission of the will to probate.

 

The estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under section 28-4 of the Probate Act of 1975 (755 ILCS 5/28-4), any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a petition to terminate to the clerk.

 

Claims against the estate may be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Room 100, Will County Court House, 100 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois, or with the representative, or both, on or before February 25, 2024, or three months from the date of mailing or delivery of this notice if mailing or delivery of notice from the representative is required by section 18-3 of the Probate Act of 1975, whichever is later. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the clerk must be mailed or delivered by the claimant to the representative and to the attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.
