ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1.1 BID INFORMATION
A. Sealed bids will be received by Narvick Bros. Construction Managers. All bid packages are to be dropped off at Narvick Brothers located at 1037 Armstrong St. Morris, Illinois 60450 by October 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time for an Asphalt Resurfacing Scope pertaining to the parking lot and drive outside of Minooka Fire Protection District Station 2.
B. Anticipated Award of Contract date: October 15th, 2024 or close thereto pending board approval.
C. Anticipated Start of Construction: October 21st, 2024
D. Anticipated Final Completion date: October 23rd, 2024
E. Bid Packages will be received for this project at the scheduled time of receipt bids.
F. Bid security will be maintained by the Construction Manager.
G. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope listing Asphalt Resurfacing bid package.
H. MBE/FBE PARTICIPATION: Narvick Bros. encourages minority contractors to submit bids for this project. Successful contractors are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
I. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Minooka Fire Protection District.
J. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
K. Bidding documents are on file and may be obtained from the Construction Manager. Bidding documents will consist of PDF files of drawings, overlays, as well as a bid package from: Narvick Bros. Construction Managers, 1037 Armstrong St. Morris, Illinois 60450, (815) 942-1173, [email protected] can also be used for requesting bid documents. There will be no hard copies available at this time.
