PUBLICATION NOTICE AND NOTICE OF CLAIMS

Notice is given to creditors of the death of Leonard Edward Hedrick. Letters of Office were issued on December 3, 2025, to Amanda Hedrick, as Independent Executor. The attorney for the Independent Representative is DANIEL J. ADLER, 1616 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois 60435.

Notice is given to the heirs or legatees who are named in a petition filed in this proceeding to probate a will and whose names or addresses are not stated in the petition, that an Order was entered by the Court on October 6, 2025, admitting the will to probate. Within 42 days after the effective date of the original order of admission you may file a petition with the Court to require proof of the Will by testimony of the witnesses to the Will in open court or other evidence, as provided in §6-21 of the Probate Act. You also have the right under §8-1 of the Probate Act to contest the validity of the Will by filing a petition with the Court within six (6) months after admission of the Will to probate.

The estate will be administered without court supervision unless under §28-4 of the Probate Act any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a petition to terminate to the clerk.

Claims against the estate may be filed with the representative or with the Circuit Clerk’s Office, Will County Courthouse, 100 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, Illinois, or with the representative, or both, on or before the 29^th day of July, 2026. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred unless otherwise permitted by law. Copies of a claim filed with the clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney of record within ten (10) days after it has been filed.
