NOTICE BY PUBLICATION
Notice is given of the death of Leishani M. Gonzalez, of Lockport, Illinois, who died on October 7, 2023, and that Letters of Office were issued to Dalizy Serpa-Beltran, 16738 W. Mere Ln., Lockport, IL, 60441, as Independent Representative, whose attorney of record is Suzanne Kelliher, Esq. 4 Westbrook Corporate Center, Suite 100, Westchester, IL 60154.
Notice is given to John David Gonzalez and unknown heirs of John David Gonzalez, who are heirs of the decedent and whose names or addresses were not stated in the petition for Letters of Administration, that an order was entered on December 28, 2023, granting independent administration of the estate. This means that the administrator will not have to obtain court orders or file estate papers in court during probate. The estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under section 5/28-4 of the Illinois Probate Act any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by e-filing a petition to terminate.
Claims against the estate may be filed with the Will County Circuit Clerk, or with the representative, or both, on or before July 18, 2024, or, if mailing or delivery of a notice from the representative is required by section 18-3 of the Probate Act of 1975, the date stated in that notice. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the clerk must be mailed or delivered by the claimant to the representative and to the attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.
