CLAIM NOTICE

 

Notice is given of the death of Diane E. Shutts whose address was 6420 Fitzer Dr Joliet IL 60431. Letters of Office were issued on December 5, 2025 to Robert D. Shutts whose address is 6420 Fitzer Dr Joliet IL 60431 as Independent Executor , and whose attorney is Vince G. Portlock, LAW OFFICES OF VINCE G. PORTLOCK LLC, 323 Springfield Avenue, Joliet, IL 60435. The estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under Section 28-4 of the Probate Act of 1975 any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a petition to terminate to the Clerk.

Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of this Court at Circuit Clerk’s Office, Will County Courthouse, 100 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432 or with the representative, or both, on or before August 7, 2026, which is greater than 6 months from the first date that this notice is published, or if mailing or delivery of a notice from the representative is required by Section 18-3 of the Probate Act as Amended, the date stated in that notice. Any claim not filed within that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorneys within ten (10) days after it has been filed.
