Claim Notice
Notice is hereby given of the death of James L. Dye, of 125 Batson Ct, New Lenox, Will County, Illinois, who died on January 18, 2024, at Panama City Beach, Florida, leaving a will that was admitted to probate by the Circuit Court of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit on May 9, 2024. Catherine Ruschak, of 679 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, Illinois has been appointed as Independent Executor, whose attorney is Joseph C. Strzalka-Steil, whose address is 6650 N. Northwest Hwy #106, Chicago, Illinois.
Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Will County, Illinois, of the Will County Court house annex located at 100 W. Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60433 or with the representative, or both, on or before November 23, 2024, or if mailing or delivery of a notice from the Representative is required by 755 ILCS 5/18-3 of the Probate Act of 1975, the date stated in that notice. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the clerk must be mailed or delivered by the claimant to the representative and to the Attorney within ten (10) days after it has been filed.
The estate will be administered without court supervision unless under 755 ILCS, Section 5/28-4 of the Probate Act, any interested person terminates the independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a Petition to Terminate to the Clerk.
