Claim Notice and Notice to Unknown Heirs of Decedent Leonard B. Young

Notice is hereby given of the death of Leonard B. Young. Letters of office were issued on June 18, 2025 to Demetrius O. Young, whose address is 1424 Ascot Street, Joliet IL. 60431 as Independent Executor, whose attorney is Christopher Messina whose address is 1131 W. Jefferson Street #135, Shorewood IL. 60404.

Notice is hereby given to unknown heirs, minor or disabled persons, or legatees to this cause. The estate will be administered without court supervision unless under section 28-4 of the Probate Act of 1975 (#755 ILCS 5/28-4) any interested person may terminate independent administration with just cause after filing such a Petition in the Circuit Court. Leonard B. Young died without a will or any legacy intentions. Nevertheless, the Court granted the Petition to Appoint Mr. Demetrius O. Young as administrator.

Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Will County, Illinois, 100 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60432, or with the representative, or both, on or before April 30, 2026. Any claim not filed by April 30, 2026 is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Court must be mailed or delivered to the representative and the attorney within ten (10) days after it has been filed.
