New Lenox Seniors Social March 14
The New Lenox VFW 323, 323 Old Hickory Road, New Lenox, will be hosting a Seniors Social on Thursday, March 14, from 1 – 3 p.m. All seniors, ages 55 and over, are invited to participate in “Not so Irish Sweepstakes.”
After a very short meeting, we will be off to the races! We will be playing the horse racing game, so bring an extra dollar or two, if you feel lucky and want to place a bet. Ladies, wear your fascinator “Derby Hats.” To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, you are encouraged to wear something green.
If you would like to bring a treat to share for our snack table, it would be greatly appreciated. We will continue to support the Caritas Food Pantry, so please bring your donation of non-perishable food items.
Come join us for an afternoon of fun, games and laughter and new members are always welcome to attend. We met on the 2nd Thursday of the month, from 1-3 pm at the New Lenox VFW. It is a great way to make new friends. For more information, call Gerry Spindler at 815-485-8326.
