Manhattan’s Taste of Fall

Embrace the season at the 2nd annual Manhattan’s Taste of Fall from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, in the parking lot behind 195 S. State St., Manhattan.

The event promises a day filled with lively entertainment, family-friendly activities and mouthwatering food, including hot dogs, tacos, BBQ,, lobster, ice cream and cakes. Adult beverages will include refreshing margaritas and locally brewed beers, fresh-brewed coffee and smoothies.
Entertainment and Activities:
Midlife Crisis will perform from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the Manhattan Park District will offer face painting and pumpkin decorating from 2 to 4:30 p.m. A caricature artist will capture moments from 4 to 7 p.m. Visit Bothwell Farms’ stand for beautiful fall decor, including mums, pumpkins and gourds.
Relax with friends and family around fire pits set up by the Manhattan Fire Department. And don’t miss the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Artisan Fair in the Wabash parking lot from 2 to 5 p.m., featuring over 20 vendors showcasing local crafts and goods.
