Back to School Fair Set for July 20
Families can get their kids ready to head back to the classroom by attending state Sen. Meg Loughran Cappel and state Rep. Natalie Manley’s free Back to School Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at the University of St. Francis St. Clare Campus, 1550 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
Loughran Cappel and Manley will be joined by community partners who will provide resources and supplies for students to use when they return to the classroom. Students can receive free school supplies at the fair and learn about a number of services offered by organizations in the community.
Vendors include Sunshine & Rainbows Learning Center, After the Peanut education center, VNA Health Care, Joliet Fire Department, NAMI – Will-Grundy, Spanish Community Center, Will County Children’s Advocacy Center, Plainfield Pride, Joliet Public Library – Black Road, Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, Plainfield Public Library, TM Martial Arts, BMO Harris Bank, Imagine Arts Academy, Guardian Angel Community Services, A Space to Create Art and more.
