2024 Celtic Fest Set for Sept. 21
The Irish American Society of County Will (IASCW) annual Celtic Fest event is to be held on from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Joe’s Park in Joliet.
This event is open to all and free to enter. IASCW members and friends will enjoy: live entertainment all day; a kids’ area with activities and fun; photo booth; fresh beverages; shopping in the fantastic vendor village and great food, including Corned Beef dinners and sandwiches, and more provided by Doing Thyme Catering.
The entertainment lineup for the Celtic Fest includes: Alex Hoffer; West Crossing; Dirty Wellies; John Condron; Irish Dancers; and the PCHS Pipe Band.
All proceeds shall benefit local charities, community service, historical education, cultural exchange, and/or scholarship purposes. Including 2024 recipients, the IASCW has awarded scholarships to 56 students since 1983. These students spend 3.5 weeks in Ireland during the summer through the Irish Life Experience (ILE) program www.irishlifeexperience.com.
