Class A (30-45 lbs) In the lighter weight division of the pedal tractor pull at the Chasing Cans for Cancer event on August 30, the first place winner was Layken Braun of Albany with a pull of 39’8”; second place winner was Eli Laconi of Crete with a pull of 12’0; and third place went to Jenna Laschiavo of Beecher with a pull of 10’6” There were 14 kids in this group who participated in the pedal pull.

Class B – 46-60 lbs. The first two places each pulled a full pull of 80’, and it came down to the second pull by each contestant to figure out who the winner was. First place went to Kason Hughes with a first pull of 80 and second pull of 80’; second place went to Wade Schmaedke of Peotone with a first pull of 80’ and second pull of 60’2”; third place went to Deegan Zigtema of Momence with a pull of 51’8” There were 11 kids in this group who participated.

Class C – 61-80 lbs. The first place winner was Wyatte Schmaedke of Peotone with a pull of 51’11”; second place winner was Wade Rosandion of Manteno with a pull of 44’4”; and third place winner was Nash Lochnar of Cedar Lake with a pull of 39’9”. There were 13 kids in this group who participated.
