Symerton Homecoming Pedal Pull Winners
The Symerton Pedal Pull was held on August 17 during Symerton Homecoming. The prizes were donated by Don and Debbie Werner, Werner Farms, of Manhattan to each of the winners in each class.
Class A (30-45 lbs) winners were: McCoy Butcher of Wilmington with a pull of 48’6”, first place; Clyde Brandau of Peotone with a pull of 10’5”, second place, and Sutter Geiss of Braidwood with a pull of 9’8”, third place
Class B (46-60 lbs) winners were: Charolette Tewes of Manhattan with three full pulls of 80’, first place; Charlie Focia of Manhattan with two full pulls of 80’ and a final pull of 49’3”, second place and Colton Bisping of Manhattan with a full pull of 80’ and second pull of 32’7”, third place.
Class C (61-80 lbs) winners were: Luke Hager of Wilmington with a full pull of 80’, first place; Maggie Nugent of Manteno with a pull of 64’3”, second place and Logan Hager of Wilmington with a pull of 50’1”, third place
