These Books Are Made for Walkin’: 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, Channahon. Join a mobile book club collaboration with Three Rivers Public Library to discuss “The Serviceberry” while strolling the trails. Ages 14 or older. Free. Register by June 9.
Plug Into Nature for Teens – The Prairie: 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, Plum Creek Nature Center, Crete Township. Teens will explore the prairie with the help of mobile apps, scavenger hunts, photography and games. Ages 13-18. Free. Register by June 9.
BYOB Bingo: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, Hickory Creek Preserve – LaPorte Road Access, Mokena. Enjoy an evening of outdoor bingo, socializing and fun. Bring snacks and drinks, including beer or wine. Ages 21 or older. Free.
Spa Discovery Day for Seniors: 8:30-10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, Plum Creek Nature Center. Discover nature’s calming powers with sensory experiences and spa treatments. Ages 55 or older. $5 per person. Register by June 11.
Free Fishing Days for Father’s Day Weekend: 6 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday-Sunday, June 13-15, Monee Reservoir. No fishing license required during this Illinois DNR-sponsored weekend. Dads receive free bait and a small gift. All ages. Free.
Free Fishing Days: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, June 13; 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, June 14-15, Hidden Lakes Trout Farm, Bolingbrook. Fish for free and enjoy daily giveaways, promo items and treats. All ages. Free.
