Beecher Man Arrested on Six Counts of Child Pornography

On May 19, 2025, 49-year-old Jasen N. Zurisk of Beecher, Illinois, was booked into the Will County Adult Detention Facility on six counts of child pornography.
The investigation began on January 22, 2025, when the Oak Lawn Police Department contacted detectives from the Will County Sheriff’s Office regarding tips they had received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Following this referral, Will County detectives launched a comprehensive investigation.
On March 4, 2025, a search warrant was executed at Zurisk’s residence, resulting in the seizure of multiple electronic devices. Subsequently, on April 29, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued for Zurisk. With the assistance of the Merrillville Police Department in Indiana, Zurisk was taken into custody at approximately 4:25 p.m. in the 1300 block of 83rd Avenue in Merrillville.
He was held at the Lake County Jail in Indiana until his extradition to Will County on May 19, 2025.
