Joliet Public Library’s Star Wars™ Day Returning June 7

The galaxy’s biggest local Star Wars™ celebration is back and will be hosted at Duly Health and Care Field, home of the Joliet Slammers, located at 1 Mayor Art Schultz Drive, Joliet.
The Joliet Public Library’s 14th Annual Star Wars™ Day will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., continuing its legacy as a FREE, all-ages celebration of fandom and literacy.
This year’s event will bring everything fans have come to love, including over 100 costumed characters, games, photo ops, Artist Alley, Star Wars™ merchandise vendors, and food trucks. A parade of costumed characters will kick off the fun.
The parade route will start at E. Jefferson and E. Power Ally, going north on Power Ally to Clinton Street, west on Clinton Street to Mayor Art Schultz Drive, and ending near the Slammers entrance Gate 3.
