Sheriff’s Deputies Respond to Frankfort Township Bank Robbery

State highway shootings decline as critics sue over ‘dragnet surveillance’

At 10:01 a.m. this today, deputies from the Will County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the BMO Harris Bank located at 19500 S. Harlem Ave., Frankfort Township, in response to a triggered hold-up alarm.

Upon arrival, deputies determined that four male suspects had fled the scene in a gray Hyundai sedan. One of the suspects did imply they had a firearm during the incident.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been notified and is actively leading the investigation in collaboration with detectives and crime scene personnel from the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office extends its gratitude to the F.B.I., Frankfort Police Department, Mokena Police Department, and the Frankfort Fire Department for their swift response and invaluable assistance during this incident.
