Watermain Work Will Close One Lane of Broadway in Each Direction
The City of Joliet Public Utilities Department will begin construction on the Broadway Street (Theodore Street – Ruby Street) Water Main project on Monday, April 14, 2025.
The project includes work to replace the water main on Broadway Street (IL Route 53) from Theodore Street to Ruby Street. Traffic on Broadway Street will be reduced to a single lane in each direction between Theodore Street and Ruby Street throughout the project. This work on Broadway Street is anticipated to be completed by November 1, 2025.
