Warren G. Schultz, 88, Manhattan

Warren G. Schultz, age 88, of Manhattan, passed away on March 25, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Warren was born on February 17, 1937, the son of George and Genevieve Schultz. He lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to the land.
Warren was the loving husband to Annette (Dagenais) Schultz. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Julie (Tim) Murphy, and his son, Warren H. (Tara) Schultz. He was a cherished grandfather to Eric (Megan) Murphy, Brett (Jess) Murphy, Evan Schultz, and Drake Schultz, and a proud great-grandfather to Mason, Harper, and Koen Murphy. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Allen Schultz, and his sister, Sharon Richter.
Warren was a proud lifetime farmer, and his passion for John Deere tractors was evident to all who knew him. His favorite pastimes included restoring antique tractors in his workshop, tractor-pulling with his son, Warren, and tending to his beloved garden. A lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs, Warren enjoyed watching their games.
A veteran of the Korean War, Warren served his country with honor in the Army. He was also a dedicated member of his community, serving for 20 years as a trustee for the Manhattan Township Board. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Funeral services for Warren took place on Monday, March 31, at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Interment was held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Manhattan.
