Police Respond to Joliet Street Shooting
On March 21, 2025, at 3:46 a.m., Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of South Joliet Street for a report of aperson shot.
Upon arrival, Officers located a 20-year old male who had sustained three gunshot wounds to his lower body.
Officers provided medical assistance to the victim until the arrival of paramedics. The victim was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department with non-life- threatening injuries.
Spent shell casings were located inside of the home. This shooting remains under active investigation.
