As of December 26, 2024, the United States Court of Appeals has suspended the requirements to file Beneficial Ownership Interest (BOI) Reports.

The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) had previously announced a deadline extension to file BOI Reports from January 1, 2025, to January 13, 2025. This deadline will no longer be enforced by the United States Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, per the suspension of reporting.

During the suspension, reporting companies will not need to file BOI Reports.
