The Jefferson Street Bridge reopened this morning after crews successfully repaired the road following a water main break in the area. Electrical power has also been restored, allowing City Hall to resume operations beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The cause of the water main break is believed to be aging infrastructure. The water main is scheduled for replacement in 2028 as part of the city’s ongoing water main replacement program.
