Update: She has been found – help to locate missing adult female

The Will County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that Maggie Sharpe, of Trinity Services in Joliet, has been found and is safe.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public and organizations who shared our post to assist us in spreading the word in hopes of a safe return.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance from the public in locating Maggie Sharpe, age 21, of Joliet.
Maggie was reported missing in the evening of December 9, 2024, after leaving Trinity Services, 2306 E. Washington St., Joliet, about 12:15 p.m. that day. Sharpe is a resident of Trinity Services and has a pre-teen mental capacity. She is described as having blonde hair, hazel eyes, is 5’4″ tall, and weighs approximately 135lbs.
Reports indicate that Sharpe may be with her friend, a male individual named Jeff Burnette. Both parties have previously been known to stay at a hotel in Shorewood. Hotel staff reported that neither individual has been observed at the hotel in recent days.
Sheriff’s deputies are continuing to search for Maggie and are asking the public for assistance. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Maggie Sharpe, or if you see her, please call 911, or contact Sheriff’s Detective McDonald at 815-727-4934.
