Peotone Christmas in the Village – December 14
The Peotone Christmas in the Village Committee and the Peotone Chamber of Commerce will host their 10th annual Christmas in the Village on Saturday, Dec. 14.
There will be tons of fun family and activities throughout the day throughout the village beginning with the PTO Pancake Breakfast and Skills USA craft show at the Peotone High School, the picture taking with the Grinch and the Reindeer and Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus as they arrive by the village fire dept, Christmas Caroling by the Peotone High School Choir and the cookie walk at Immanuel U.C.C.
The Peotone American Legion’s monthly Fish Fry will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., and the fun and anticipated lighted Christmas parade beginning at 5 p.m. at the Peotone Jr. High, ending in the newly landscaped downtown with Santa and Mrs. Claus ushering in the Christmas season.
This year’s Lighted Parade will begin at the Peotone Junior High School, 1 Blue Devil Drive. It will proceed north on West Street, turn east on Main Street, turn north on Second Street, turn west on Crawford Avenue, and will end at the intersection of Crawford Avenue and West Street.
