SWCD Taking Orders for Fall Tree and Fish Sale
The Will-South Cook Soil and Water Conservation District is currently taking orders for the 2024 Fall Tree and Fish Sale.
Order forms are available on the district website (will-scookswcd.org) or can be picked up at the district office, located at 1201 S. Gougar Road in New Lenox, during business hours.
All orders are prepaid only. There are a wide variety of plants, shrubs, and trees available, ranging in size from 12 inches to 5 feet tall. Fish varieties for sale include black crappie, channel catfish, largemouth bass, redear sunfish, triploid grass carp, rainbow trout, bluegill and minnows.
Fish orders are due in the office by Wednesday, Sept. 11, and must be picked up on October 5. Tree sale orders are due Wednesday, Sept. 18, and will be available for pickup October 3 and 4 at the district office.
