Morningstar Mission Adds New Staff
Aleta Finney Pavnica
MorningStar Mission in Joliet has added new staff members to assist with development and community relations.
Aleta Finney Pavnica is the Director of Community Relations. A lifelong resident of Will County she has worked in the areas of business and education throughout her life. Currently Pavnica is a board member of JTHS Foundation, The Salvation Army and the Spanish Community Center.
A graduate of Governors State University, she taught at Prairie State College for 10 years. Pavnica is a long-time volunteer at MorningStar. With three adult sons, she has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to philanthropy and family.
Peggy Sue Munday holds the position of Director of Development. A native of Kankakee County, Munday currently holds a seat on their County Board. She also sits on the Board of the United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties, and the Bradley Bourbonnais Rotary Club.

A member of the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce, Munday sits on the Women in Networking committee. A former Athena Award winner, she is a well-known Motivational Speaker and has over 40 years of volunteerism throughout Kankakee County.
MorningStar Mission serves all of Will County with emergency shelter as well as a Drop In Center for cooling and heating and daily meals served at their Café.
Also included in their services is a Men’s Residential Recovery Program and a Women and Family Center.
