County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant hosted state legislators at a tour of Will County’s Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Plant on June 24, spotlighting the environmental and financial benefits of the facility. The RNG Plant, the second in Illinois and first in Chicagoland, repurposes landfill gas from County-owned Prairie View Landfill into renewable, revenue-generating transportation fuel.
