Farm Bureau Member Family Fun Night July 11
The Will County Farm Bureau has scheduled their annual Farm Bureau Family Fun Night for Thursday, July 11. Tickets are currently on sale at the Will County Farm Bureau.
This annual member summertime family event will be held at the Joliet Junior College Weitendorf Facility, 17940 W. Laraway Road, Joliet.
On the agenda for the evening will be all sorts of fun fair games and activities for the children sponsored by the Will County Farm Bureau committees. The pedal tractor pull, which is always a big hit for the kids, is being co-sponsored by Heritage FS and the Will County Farm Bureau Young Farmer’s Committee.
Each class will start with the same weight; we will have the number of weights written down for each class. All kids participating in this event and the fun fair games must have a paid ticket to the event.
The evening will begin with the meal being served between 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Serving will end at 6:30 p.m. promptly. Carry-outs will be available. Please note: No carry-out tickets will be sold the night of the event, as tickets must be secured before July 3.
The fun fair games start at 5 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. Entertainment by “Full Circle Band” will be the featured musical entertainment this year and is sponsored by Compeer Financial. The musical entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. and will conclude at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the Farm Bureau Appreciation night are $15 for adults (ages 13 and over) for Will County Farm Bureau members only, which includes two pork chops with all the fixings (there are no senior citizen prices), $10 for children 12 and under (which includes either a hot dog or one pork chop). The price of the ticket includes the meal, as well as admission to all the games and entertainment for the evening.
