Sowing to Please the Spirit

Some 50 people -- mostly farmers -- recently celebrated a Rogation Mass on Dave Kestel's farm in Manhattan. Although this was the first event for this group, the celebration goes back centuries and was held for a variety of supplications, including the hope of a bountiful harvest.
