Farmers Weekly Review

Mark Jones from the Peotone FFA provided the nutrition presentation for the students the last day of the Ag Expo. The kids had many questions as you can tell by the hands in the air. Also providing this presentation was Isebella Denny.

Julie Barr from Joliet Junior College far right talks to the students about pigs and was running a video at this point which asked the students questions about her presentation.

Dave Hiller and Sharon Zolner talk about dairy production and how you make cheese for the young attendees.

Jeff Haas and Jim Robbins talk about machinery and corn and soybean production during the Ag Expo.

Emmerson Turner hands Dave Kestel a prop for the beef presentation during the Ag Expo held at JJC Weitendorf Ag Education Facility. The heifer was Emmerson’s show animal for the fairs.

John Kiefner and Rita Luedtke have the kids make flour from wheat during the Ag Expo. Here Henry Warrick uses the old fashioned crank to grind wheat into flour.
