Nominations Committee Appointed
The Will County Farm Bureau Board of Directors has approved the 2023 – 2024 nomination and election committee for the upcoming Board election. Four Farm Bureau Director positions will be elected for the coming three-year terms. The process includes self-nomination to the Board of Directors.
The election committee will meet to review the nominations in the middle of November to make sure each district has a representative running and will compile a list to be printed in the paper. The nomination for candidates began in the October 12th issue of The Farmers Weekly Review and October 16th edition of Directions, our electronic newsletter. The deadline to return the nomination form is November 2, 2023.
The election ballots will be printed and mailed to the voting members of the Will County Farm Bureau by district. The election committee will then meet in mid-January to count the ballots and the election results will be reported at the January 27, 2024, Will County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.
People appointed to the nomination and election committee will be listed at a later date.
