The Hits Keep Comin’!

Upon the Joliet American Legion Band taking to the stage on Saturday, Aug. 26, in Charlotte, NC, Concert Master Ken Spreitzer addressed the band prior to Director Mike Fiske stepping to the podium. After performing three fine classical arrangements, including the Crosley March by composer Henry Fillmore, the Joliet American Legion Band was awarded first place, making this their 39th national title since they began competing in 1946.
