Last Look at Will County Fair 2023

“65,600 attendance, very good considering really three days,” said Jay Nadler, fair board president. Fair officials said there were 46 babies in the baby show, over 2,700 entries in the fine arts building and 6 entries in the chili cook off. There were long lines at the food vendors, including Wilton 4-H Porkburgers, Peotone Cub Scout Pack 315’s grilled fresh corn on the cob (they sold out), and lemonade, root beer and funnel cakes.

Food is an important part of the County Fair, as Gavin Denison, 12, from Manteno, makes a funnel cake disappear.
