Under the direction of US Army Maj. Rick Ellenberger (Retired), the Joliet American Legion Band presented an array of musical arrangements at the 104th American Legion Convention in Springfield Saturday, July 15. Included within the concert performance for attending dignitaries from across the state, military branch flags were presented by the band's color guard Veronica Konow during the installation of department officers. Next stop for the band will be Charlotte, NC, to defend their National Champion title in August. (Photo provided)
