The project -- called the Ray Holloway House in memory of the late legion member and village clerk -- started two years ago, with Murdie doing a lot of work on it, as required by Habitat. But he also has chipped in on many other Habitat projects in the area. Members of Holloway's family were present for the official opening of the home on June 17, in addition to county and Crest Hill officials.
