Farmers Weekly Review

The Joliet American Legion Band will be holding their annual fundraising concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at the Jacob Henry Mansion, 15 S. Richards St., Joliet. In addition to a superb line-up of musical selections being conducted by Mike Fiske, the band's associate directors Rick Ellenberger (U.S. Army Major Retired), Dr. James Kruez and Jill Kohler will also take the podium to present fine patriotic arrangements. Tickets for this event will be available at the door one hour prior to show time at the cost of $10 per person. Light refreshments will be available in addition to a silent auction and drawings for raffle baskets which are being made possible through local merchant donations and band member contributions. The band will be traveling to Charlotte, NC, in August to defend their "National Champion" title once again.
