Farmers Weekly Review

The Will-South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District is taking orders for the Spring Tree & Fish Sale.

Order forms are available on the District Website, http://will-scookswcd.org, and can be picked up at the WSCSWCD office during business hours. U.S. Mail, email and can also be requested by calling (815) 462-3106, ext. 3.

The District has a wide variety of plants, shrubs, and trees available this spring. Stocks range in size from 12 inches to 6-foot linear stock, and in a 1-, 2- or 5-gallon potted stock. All tree orders must be placed and received by April 12, 2023. All orders are prepaid only.

Fish varieties for sale include: Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Triploid Grass Carp, Rainbow Trout, Bluegill, and Minnows. Grass Carp must be ordered by Wednesday, March 29, 2023. All other fish orders must be placed and received by Friday, April 7, 2023. Grass Carp Orders require permit information on bottom of form to be filled in completely. All orders are prepaid only.

Fish stock will be available for pick-up on Saturday April 22, 2023, from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m.  Tree orders will be available for pick-up on Thursday and Friday, April 20 and 21, and Saturday, April 22, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pick-up is at the Will South Cook Soil & Water Conservation District building (in back parking lot), 1201 S. Gougar Road, New Lenox.
