Honorees At 109th Annual Meeting
Jeff Brandau had reached his tenure serving on the Will County Farm Bureau Board and accepted this award from Rick Johnson and Steve Warrick Sr. for 8 years on the board.
LuAnn Matejcak retired off the Will County Farm Bureau Board serving tenure as she served 7 years, including one additional year because of the redistricting going from 2-year terms to 3-year terms.
John Kiefner stepped off the Will County Farm Bureau board after serving his 6-year tenure.
Sean Leeders accepted the agent of the year award for assisting to sign 53 new members last year.
State Sen. Patrick Joyce was presented the ag community support award from the Will County Farm Bureau as he had the highest voting record supporting the farm economy of all the Senators who represent Will County.
County Board member Don Gould received this award following his retirement from the board after 20 years of service.
Tom Weigel was presented the agriculture support award following his retirement from the County Board after 18 years of service.
Pastor Herb Brooks was presented with an agriculture support award in appreciation of his 14 years of service on the County Board.
