PrimeTimers to Hear ‘Simply Patsy’

The Will County Farm Bureau PrimeTimers Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to Starved Rock Lodge to see “Simply Patsy” on Tuesday, March 28.
The chartered bus will leave the Will County Farm Bureau office, 100 Manhattan Road, Joliet, at 10 a.m. sharp to travel to Starved Rock Lodge. The cost of this day trip is $89 for Farm Bureau members and $99 for guests of members/nonmembers. This fee includes your chartered bus transportation, lunch buffet, show tickets and all taxes and gratuities.
Included in this trip is the lunch buffet which will be at Starved Rock Lodge at 12 noon. “Simply Patsy,” the musical tribute, will begin at 1 p.m. You will return to the Will County Farm Bureau at approximately 4 p.m. This trip is available to all adult members ages 55 and over of the Will County Farm Bureau and their adult guests.
Since 2010, Mary Pfeifer has delivered the sounds of the late great Patsy Cline in her “Simply Patsy” tribute. Mary has performed throughout Illinois and neighboring states, and was recently an invited guest to perform Patsy songs onstage in Nashville, TN. From Patsy’s first recordings in 1955 to her last in 1963, she will bring back memories of your favorite Patsy songs, including those famous hits like “Crazy” and “Walking after Midnight”, and reveal many facts about the young singer’s life.
Signup for this trip will begin on Thursday, January 26, at 8 a.m. by calling the Will County Farm Bureau at 815-727-4811. No reservations will be made before that time. Call early on January 26th, as this trip will fill up early.
A member can call reservations in for themselves and one more party. If you are a couple, you can call in another couple or a single. If you are a single, you can call in for another single or a couple. No walk-in reservations to the office the day of signup will be accepted between the hours of 8 and 9 a.m., as the office staff will be busy with phone call ins at that time.
Participants must be able to walk a distance without assistance. All travelers MUST be in good health and able to maneuver independently. Will County Farm Bureau will not be responsible for any injuries that occur during the event.
The deadline for making payment on the reservations is February 28. No refunds will be issued on cancellations after the deadline date. Sign up for this trip will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 26th, at 8 a.m. by calling the Farm Bureau office at 815-727-4811.
